Pike’s Peak
Visiting Pikes Peak is one of those must-do experiences in Colorado Springs. Drive the winding mountain road or take the scenic cog railway in spring. From jaw-dropping views to surprise snowstorms Pikes Peak inspired the song “America the Beautiful.”

Tip: Road Trip or Rail Ride → Visit the Top of Pike’s Peak.
The Broadmoor Seven Falls
Visit March through November, the Broadmoor Seven Falls is such a gorgeous area. Hike just under a mile to view a series of waterfalls in a 1,250 foot wall box canyon. It’s a workout if you want to get a bird’s eye view or up close to the waterfalls. You’ll climb 224 steps to feel the splash of a rushing waterfall or about 180 steps for a bird’s eye view.

Garden of the Gods
My favorite thing to do in Colorado Springs is to visit Garden of the Gods. If you are in the area don’t miss this natural beauty!

Garden of the Gods is a great place to hike for all levels of hikers. You can see many cool rock formations just driving around the park as well.

Ghost Town Museum
The Ghost Town Museum is a great indoor activity. The kids loved the replicated buildings and exploring the carriages.

Airplane Restaurant
The kids thought this was the coolest restaurant. The Airplane Restaurant has an actual airplane attached to it. You can also explore the cockpit of the airplane.

Visit Manitou Springs
Just six miles from Colorado Springs you can explore the little mountain town of Manitou Springs. There are eight mineral springs in the downtown area. Years ago people would travel here for hundreds of miles to be healed from theses waters. Each spring is said to have their own natural healing properties.
