Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum

If you don’t feel like hiking very far to see the hummingbirds, the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson has a great area to view.

Ramsey Canyon Preserve

Ramsey Canyon Preserve is such a beautiful peaceful place for a hike or just to sit back and watch the hummingbirds. They have several feeders out just on the back side of the visitor center.


Madera Canyon

Ash Canyon Nature Center in the Huachuca Mountains is a great birding spot, Ash Canyon Nature Center, has feeders throughout the yard .

Patagonia/Sonoita Creek Preserve

The Paton Center for Hummingbirds. For more information visit Tucson Audubon. The San Pedro Riparian Conservation Area is another great area to view birds.

Hummingbird Festivals in Arizona

Sedona has a Hummingbird Festival every summer. The Arizona Game & Fish has an annual High Country Hummingbird Festival.
