Our main objective on our trip to Oregon was to see some of this state’s amazing waterfalls. Just one hour outside of Portland, Oregon is the not so secret Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. You can take Interstate 84 to the popular Multnomah Falls, but if you do you’ll miss all the cool stops along the way.

They are absolutely gorgeous and immediately you add them to your bucket list. Then after scrolling through the stunning photos you realize it is a 8-10 mile hike to reach that swimming hole.

Senoia Georgia – The Walking Dead
A Walking Dead fan? My daughter loves the show, so as a day trip from Atlanta we visited the historical town of Senoia, Georgia. I will admit I did not expect much from this excursion. We found Senoia absolutely charming and the people genuinely kind and helpful. If you love exploring little towns and/or are a fan of AMC’s The Walking Dead show you will enjoy a visit to Senoia.
