Nawiliwili Kauai Lighthouse The Nawiliwili Lighthouse was a little more difficult to find , but the drive offers great views and a peaceful escape from tourists. To find Nawiliwili we turned down the road, like we were going to the Marriot Resort and drove as far as the road goes. Eventually we came to an abandoned shopping center area with some very nice views. Follow the road around to the other side of the shopping center. The road will turn to dirt and will eventually lead to the Nawiliwili Lighthouse.

If you’re in Hawaii you are definitely going to want to spend some time in the water. Kauai has some beautiful beaches and great areas to snorkel.

Kauai is a stunning island to explore. Two of our favorite Kauai hikes were Queen’s Bath and the Pools of Mokolea.

“Nani Mala”  means beautiful gardens. If you want a botanist point of the view of Kauai, the Allerton Botanical Gardens is the perfect place to start. The tour wasn’t quite what I expected, but it was a great experience. It was a highly educational tour on botany.
