Midwest
The Midwest includes the following states: Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, South Dakota, and North Dakota. In this part of the country you will find charming lake towns, farms, historic neighborhoods, and wide open spaces perfect for relaxing getaways.
Northeast
The northeast part of the country includes: New York, Vermont, Maine, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Rhode Island From the large metropolitan areas like New York City and Boston to historic villages, forested trails, and coastal charm—this is where classic Americana meets natural beauty.
South
If you want to visit the south or southeast check out the following states: Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. From moss-draped streets to mountain towns and music cities, the South is rich in culture, food, and slower-paced escapes.
This is where, in my opinion, they have the best fried chicken in the USA. My favorites are in Georgia, Kentucky & Tennessee (Nashville Hot Chicken).
Southwest
The southwest includes: Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Nevada. Here you’ll find desert landscapes, red rock canyons, hidden hikes, and ancient history. Come explore the rugged beauty of the Southwest.
West
The West includes Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Idaho. Oregon and Washington are also referred to as the Pacific Northwest.
From mountain trails to coastal drives, this region is packed with outdoor adventures, charming towns, and breathtaking views.
